Which rebate could apply to your home?
Up to $7,500 CAD
For a qualifying purchased cold-climate air-source heat pump, the program lists $1,250 per ton of eligible heating capacity, to a maximum of $7,500. Your approved amount may be lower.
Up to $2,000 CAD
For eligible Enbridge Gas homes purchasing a qualifying cold-climate air-source heat pump, the program lists $500 per ton, to a maximum of $2,000. The $7,500 maximum does not apply to this category.

Start with eligibility, then installation
- Confirm your existing heating source and home eligibility. Homeownership, property type and equipment requirements apply.
- Choose a participating contractor and eligible system. Use the official program list to confirm contractor participation before committing.
- Obtain mandatory pre-installation approval. Installation before approval is not eligible.
- Complete the approved installation and post-installation application. Payment follows the program's approval process.

Does every homeowner receive $7,500?
No. The maximum applies to a qualifying purchase for eligible electricity-, oil-, propane- or wood-heated homes. The approved amount depends on capacity and program conditions. Eligible natural-gas homes have a different maximum.
Can I install first and apply later?
No. The current program requires pre-installation approval. Review the official steps and verify participation before arranging the installation.
Is there an official expiry date for this offer?
Rebate amounts and availability are controlled by the program and can change. Confirm current conditions before purchasing. This promotion does not promise a fixed government deadline or reserve funding.
Is heat pump repair included in this rebate?
This promotion concerns qualifying new installations. For repair, tune-ups or a condo HVAC unit, book heat pump service.
